So basically we have to pay for something that in 3ds max comes integrated. Very disappointing. After all those years Autodesk isnt able to implement a render engine at 360°. Shame.
Autodesk didn’t feel like Maya was the industry market for iray. This is true and misleading. If you look around at some other comments, I explain why they felt that way.
Not available on all platforms. That’s disappointing.
iRay and their cloud rendering is powerful. Although being a Softimage user, iRay doesn’t look as though it’s coming anytime soon 😦
